Paris – France

It’s one of the most popular romantic getaway spots and couples in love flock to iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre Dame. Then there are the famous French food and art galleries, which make this city one of the most-visited in the world, not just Europe.
Rome – Italy
Rome is the city central to the Roman empire and everywhere you go in the Italian city you can find evidence of its history. There is also the fact that Rome is the capital of Italy, and people love nothing more than dining out on some amazing Italian food. Where better to dine out on some Italian food than the home of it? Famous landmarks that tourists come specifically for are the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel in The Vatican, and the Trevi Fountain.
London – United Kingdom
London is one of the oldest and biggest cities in the world and a must-see for anyone wanting to visit the United Kingdom. You can get just about anything you could ever want in London, plus it’s the only place to see those classic British landmarks.
You’ve got Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace to see, plus the classic London taxis, red buses, and fish and chips to taste. There is more to London than the typical British stereotypes, and the multicultural city welcomes cuisines and cultures from all over the world.
Barcelona – Spain
While Madrid might be the Spanish capital, many European travelers find themselves heading to Barcelona instead. It’s more laid back than the capital, and the architecture is something to be marveled at.
Gaudi buildings and structures can be found all over the city, with the centerpiece being La Sagrada Familia. There is also a beach in the city so you can top up your tan on the sand while figuring out which tapas restaurant you want to try each evening.
Amsterdam – The Netherlands
Amsterdam is famous for its cyclists, though people find themselves in the Dutch city for many other reasons. There are the ‘coffee shops’ and the red light district that most people at least take a walk past just to see what all the fuss is about.
You can take a boat trip along the canals and learn all about what makes Amsterdam the way it is. For the cultured people, there are many world-class museums and art galleries and then there are the famous crepes and stroopwafels that have to be sampled on your visit.
These European destinations have millions of tourists come through their airports each and every year. People can’t get enough of them, and it’s because all the fuss is right, they really are great.
